Application materials

Juniors and Seniors may apply for membership by invitation only. Invitations are sent out in late August or early September via the student and parent email addresses on file. All students with a cumulative and unweighted GPA of 3.5 or higher will be considered candidates and sent an invitation to apply.

Application does not guarantee membership. All candidates will be notified as soon as possible if they are selected or not. Newly selected members will be expected to attend our October member meeting (roughly the second week) to accept membership, sign the member contract, and make their first $20 annual dues payment.

Membership meetings are mandatory. They take precedence over athletics practices and other club meetings and occur once a month. All NHS members are required to complete and document 40 hours of community service throughout the year.

The 2022-2023 NHS Induction Ceremony is scheduled for October 26th in the High School Auditorium (QPAC).
