Athletes can be trained to run faster through improvement in technique. Athletes will work on acceleration, over-speed training, stride length, and power. Through training, athletes will train to their balance and coordination. Athletes will develop agility that will allow them to change speed, direction and proper body control. Athletes will work on reacting with their eyes based on player movement. Players will also work on developing an explosive first step. Players who develop an explosive first step will jump ahead of their competition. Whether the player is driving off the line of scrimmage, coming out of the starting blocks, or making a move on the soccer or field hockey field, each athlete will gain an advantage through refining their explosiveness.
